"The Call is Greater than the Pull"

About Our Ministry
Vessels of Honor Intercessory Prayer Ministry
Our intercessory prayer ministry, Vessels of Honor, came into being after my father, passed away. He carried a mighty mantle of intercession for his family and community throughout his life. When I opened the room door, I found him on the floor, removed from earth to glory. It was then that his mantle of prayer was spiritually transferred to me.
Growing up, my mother, always encouraged me to pray. Although I was reluctant to pray, I eventually learned to do so through study and memorization.
In March 2008, Vessels of Honor Intercessory Prayer Ministries was officially launched as an online teleconference with women interceding on behalf of family, churches, schools, government, states, and others.
The Lord spoke in an audible voice to me one morning during a prayer call, "Joyce, the call is greater than the pull!" As a result of that encounter, He perfected and established me as a perpetual Kingdom Intercessor.
It was not possible for me to walk or stand in November 2020. During the month of December 2020, I underwent back surgery. In January 2021, I was instructed by the Lord to host a 24-hour prayer watch on the Louisiana State Capitol steps. God, are you sure you're speaking to me? I'm broken. In May 2021, three months later, we held our first annual "24-hour Prayer Call to Watch" during which we experienced supernatural results.
Currently, the Vessels of Honor Intercessory Prayer Ministries is a growing global movement of intercessors for the Kingdom of God, praying, studying, teaching, witnessing and standing as end-time harvesters for the Lord...joining hands with a great band of witnesses and fellow intercessors shouting “We have won!”

Declaration of Faith
Vessels of Honor Intercessory Prayer Ministry
We, the members of Vessels of Honor, firmly affirm the following foundational beliefs, grounded in Scripture and inspired by the Holy Spirit. This Declaration of Faith is the official expression of our doctrine and spiritual culture.
We believe:
• The Bible
That the entire Bible is divinely inspired, infallible, and is the authoritative, written Word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; Hebrews 4:12; John 1:14
• The Trinity
In one God, eternally existing and co-equally revealed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. These three are one God.
John 1:1–5; Matthew 28:18–20; 2 Corinthians 13:14
• Jesus Christ
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary. He was crucified, buried, and resurrected. He ascended to Heaven and now intercedes at the right hand of the Father for all believers.
John 14:13–14; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25; 9:24
• Sin and Repentance
That all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Repentance is commanded by God and is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.
2 Chronicles 7:14; Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 17:30
• Salvation
That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are experienced through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
John 3:3–7; Romans 3:21–28; 1 Peter 1:23
• Sanctification
That sanctification follows the new birth and is accomplished through faith in Christ, the cleansing power of the Word, and the work of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 8:29; 1 Corinthians 6:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:23
• Holiness
That holiness is God’s standard of living for His people.
Leviticus 11:44; Habakkuk 1:13; Revelation 4:8; 1 Peter 1:15–16; 1 Samuel 2:2
• Baptism of the Holy Ghost
In the baptism of the Holy Ghost, which follows a clean heart and empowers the believer.
Acts 1:4–5; 8:14–17; 1 Corinthians 12:13; 2:4
• Speaking in Tongues
That speaking in tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance, is the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:4; 10:44–46; 19:6
• Water Baptism
In water baptism by immersion for all who repent, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; 8:38–39; Romans 6:3–4
• Divine Healing
That divine healing is provided for all through Christ’s atonement.
Isaiah 53:4–5; Matthew 8:16–17; 1 Peter 2:24; James 5:14–15
• Communion and Foot Washing
In observing the Lord’s Supper and the washing of the saints’ feet as acts of humility and service.

In the premillennial second coming of Jesus: First, to resurrect the righteous dead and catch away living saints; Second, to reign on earth for a thousand years.
Matthew 24:29–31; Zechariah 14:4–5; Revelation 20:1–6; 2 Thessalonians 1:7–10
• The Resurrection and Eternal Judgment
In the bodily resurrection of all people: eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
